  • Payment information — CricketMind is 100% free; we do not collect any payment or credit card data
  • Location data — we do not track your physical location

3. How We Use Data

  • Improve the Service, including AI model accuracy and response quality
  • Personalise your experience with relevant suggestions and trending queries
  • Send important account notifications (e.g., new features, match alerts)
  • Analyse aggregate usage patterns to guide product development

4. Data Storage

All data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Our databases are hosted in secure, SOC 2-compliant data centres. We follow industry best practices for data security and perform regular security audits.

5. Third Parties

We work with a small number of trusted third-party services:

  • AWS Cognito — authentication and identity management
  • Anthropic (Claude AI) — natural language query processing and analysis
  • Sportmonks — live match data for IPL 2026

We do not sell your data to anyone. Ever.

6. Cookies

We use minimal cookies strictly for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. No cookie consent banner needed because we don't track you.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Search query history is retained for up to 12 months to improve the Service. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Delete your account — available in app settings, permanently removes all data
  • Export your data — request a copy of all data we hold about you
  • Correct your data — update your email or profile information at any time
  • Opt out of emails — unsubscribe from marketing emails (account notifications remain)
